K’NEX Bugs

I found these in a book called “Wampus Goes Buggy” (which included a detailed teacher’s manual) published by the K’NEX people in the 1990s. I don’t remember ever seeing or hearing anything about it, so maybe it was not a big hit with educators, at least not in my sons’ schools. I spotted the book at a library used book sale for 25 cents. Because of the huge collection of K’NEX sitting in my basement, it seemed like it was well worth a quarter. I’ve changed a few of the models to make them a bit more to my liking. If your child likes the idea, I’m sure he or she will be able to come up with lots more bugs to build.
